Genesis builds and develops a curriculum that combines the framework curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training and the International Primary Curriculum of Fieldwork Education.
The curricula being taught at Genesis are designed based on 3 main principles: Academic proficiency, General competency & Cross-curricular learning, which allow them to be focused on developing learners’ competencies, be learner-centered, allowing learners to develop self-studying, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.

LEARNING METHODOLOGY

With modern facilities and digital platforms, integrated learning helps Genesis students receive continuous support with diverse assignments and learning resources; enhance interaction between students and teachers, and adapt to new teaching methods at higher levels.
Genesis encourages students to be actively involved in the learning process and have more control over their learning with an individualized learning environment. At the same time, Genesis students benefit from receiving individualized learning paths, facilitating participation in competitive exams with the goal of preparing for the future.
With a learning environment that is close to nature, a variety of field trips, and Green Projects, Genesis students are given a chance to be intrigued by nature – they know how to find solutions from the natural world for learning and life problems.
ABOUT GENESIS PRIMARY SCHOOL CURRICULUM
The subjects in the framework curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training are designed to ensure students achieving required outcomes of the Ministry of Education and Training, including the following subjects: Vietnamese (including Creative Writing and Reading) , Maths (including Mathematical Thinking and Advanced Topics), Ethics/Lifestyles, Physical Education, Music, Arts, Experiential Activities/Crafts/Engineering, Library, Nature – Society /Science/History – Geography, Informatics.
The school especially focuses on the interdisciplinary aspect of learning to help students have the motivation to be creative, think independently, apply knowledge to solve practical problems and save time.
The ESL curriculum is designed to have 3 parts: ESL – Proficiency, ESL Maths, and ESL Science.
The curriculum is designed according to the Common European Framework Reference for Languages (CEFR) with the outcome being level A2/A2+ for the Integrated Stream. Checkpoint tests in the Cambridge format are applied at the end of each school year to measure students’ language proficiency according to the School’s outcome standards.
The green values are integrated into daily activities of our school, and Green Education is taught and learned in Green Projects for 2 periods/week in English.
The subject provides students with knowledge and skills related to sustainable lifestyle and development, with the goal of helping each student become an individual with a solid value system, knowledge and ability to coexist in harmony with nature, with the awareness of environmental protection, with words and actions that positively affect the surrounding community, with the ability to encourage the community and directly take actions for the environment and sustainable development.
The subject contents closely follow the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
The subject is taught in English using the Project-based learning method. Students work on 4 projects for each school year – 2 projects/term. Each project lasts about 2 months.
