Every mother has her own way of expressing love for her children, but the sacred bond of motherhood is a universal truth that transcends ethnicity and geography. March, with International Women’s Day on 8/3, is the perfect opportunity to honor and celebrate women around the world.
During their visit to the Vietnamese Women’s Museum as part of the “The Woman I Love” project, the Genee students not only had the chance to explore and learn about the tools and traditional clothing associated with women but also saw familiar images of their grandmothers and mothers through the photographs in the “Mother Loves Her Child” exhibition by photographer Lê Bích. This exhibition beautifully conveys the message, “Everyone is born from a mother.”
