“Stay committed to a Green lifestyle”—this is the meaningful message that Genesis middle school students aimed to convey after completing the four-week “Green Living, Green Actions” project. As part of the Personal Development Program (PDP), Grade 6 and 7 Genee students had the opportunity to present their project findings to parents and teachers this morning. The project was designed to raise students’ awareness of environmental issues while also focusing on developing essential skills such as research and effective teamwork. The Genee students were divided into three groups, each taking turns to present their thoughts and initiatives on practicing a Green lifestyle in front of their teachers and parents.
From crafting simple yet eco-friendly products to influencing the consumption habits of their parents and families, the Genee students have taken meaningful steps toward promoting sustainable living. This project concludes by opening the door to a Green lifestyle, with the Genee students firmly standing as future global citizens dedicated to sustainable development.
