While the morning at Genesis was filled with emotions, where books came to life through the “Book Review” contest, the afternoon unfolded as a journey of connection: between readers and authors, between young minds challenging each other in a vibrant arena of knowledge.

“The Magical World of Books” Competition

Designed for Genee students in Rocky, Grades 1, 2, and 3, this special “Golden Bell Challenge” – inspired competition transformed the world of books into a lively battleground, where our young “little scholars” decoded clever questions. The thrill, the cheers, and the bright-eyed focus of the students created an atmosphere of joyful, engaging learning, bringing them even closer to books.

An Inspiring Talk with Author Vu Cong Chien – Writer of Straw Hat Goes to School

For Genees in Grades 4 to 8, the afternoon was a heartwarming encounter with writer Vu Cong Chien. His heartfelt stories, rooted in the Vietnamese countryside and childhood memories, gently guided students back to the simplicity of the past – nurturing in them a love for literature and life’s small yet meaningful moments.
Every activity in Book Week is a seed of knowledge – cultivating the mind, enriching the soul, and inspiring a love for reading in every Genee. We invite all parents to join us in following and supporting this meaningful journey!
