This afternoon, Geneehad the honor of being the very first guests to take part in the historical experiential education program “A time of fire and flowers”, co-organized by the Heritage Education Organization EDUDU and the Vietnam Women’s Museum. This special program is held in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025).

“A time of fire and flowers” is a journey back in time, transporting students to the fierce years of war, where Vietnamese women were not only the backbone on the home front but also brave fighters on the front lines. Their silent sacrifices and passionate patriotism played a vital role in the nation’s great victory.

Through immersive activities such as reenacting life on the battlefield, role-playing historical figures, and listening to powerful stories from the past, Genees didn’t just learn about history from books, they felt it with their hearts. These experiences offered profound insights into the value of peace, the spirit of resilience, and the vital role of Vietnamese women in wartime.

The highlight of the program was a moving performance – a storytelling piece expressed through music and vivid imagery that created an authentic, emotional space of remembrance and inspiration.
This was not just a field trip but a living lesson in patriotism, gratitude, and national pride. At Genesis, we believe that through such deep and meaningful experiences, our Genees will grow into more responsible individuals, carrying the flame of Vietnamese pride with them.
