The initial reactions were a mix of surprise, delight, and awe as the kids entered the museum. But what truly amazed us, the chaperones, was their intense focus throughout the entire visit. Each camper had their own unique way of showing enthusiasm—whether it was their captivated expressions as they listened to the guide, their wide-eyed wonder watching a documentary about rhinos, or their thoughtful silence as they read the descriptions of various creatures, followed by a spontaneous “Wow!”.
The museum’s expansive 3-hectare botanical garden and 1,000 square meters of exhibition space showcasing insects and animals created a “biodiversity dictionary” for our little researchers. The guides also shared stories about Vietnam’s biodiversity, adding even more excitement to the trip.
