Besides the activities held at school, today, the campers of 3D’s SUMMER CAMP had an exciting day with an excursion to Vạn Phúc Silk Village and Vụn Art Social Enterprise.
During the visit, the campers observed the machinery and learned about the intricate process of silk production, gaining an appreciation for the precision, meticulousness, and dedication required in every step of creating these beautiful silk fabrics. This experience deepened their love for their homeland and its cultural heritage.
At Vụn Art, the children engaged in fabric collage activities, which not only allowed them to express their creativity but also heightened their awareness of environmental protection, encouraging them to smartly utilize available materials.
Overall, the trip to the silk village brought traditional values closer to the children, giving them a chance to showcase their artistic taste and creativity. Furthermore, through the heartfelt stories shared by the team at Vụn Art Social Enterprise, the campers also developed empathy for those less fortunate, learning to live with a sense of community, responsibility, compassion, and gratitude for what they have.
