Continuing the charity program aimed at assisting communities affected by Typhoon Yagi, which has already completed half of its journey in Yen Bai province, representatives from the Green Life Charity Fund, Genesis, and member companies of Capital House visited Khu Chu Phìn School, part of Sàng Ma Sáo Kindergarten, in Sàng Ma Sáo Commune, Bát Xát District, Lào Cai Province. This is the final school to receive funding in this round of fundraising to support areas impacted by Typhoon Yagi.
With a donation of 200,000,000 VND, the school is delighted to announce that the funds will be used to repair and repaint the walls and ceilings, which had been damaged by leaks and mold from heavy rains in September. Over 120 square meters of roofing have been replaced, giving the school a fresh new look for the children in this mountainous area. Additionally, the Green Life Charity Fund also donated four boxes of educational toys worth 5,000,000 VND to the kindergarten.
During the visit to Sàng Ma Sáo Commune, located 70 km from Lào Cai city, the charity team also distributed essential goods to 15 H’Mong households facing difficulties due to landslides caused by Typhoon Yagi. On behalf of the local government and the Commune Party Committee, Mr. Sùng A Chứ, Vice Chairman of the Commune People’s Committee, expressed heartfelt thanks to Capital House and its member companies for their support and spirit of community solidarity.
