Continuing the journey into the world of finance, Genees recently completed the second session of the Personal Finance Management courscourse. During this session, the students learned how to categorize household and personal expenses, gaining a clearer understanding of the difference between necessary expenditures and luxury items. Mastering the distinction between “NEEDS” and “WANTS” not only helps Genee cultivate responsible spending habits but also encourages smart financial choices from an early age.
But that’s not all! Genees are also provided valuable insights into Vietnam’s economic landscape, including the country’s average income per capita and the income disparities between urban and rural areas. Led by two expert speakers, Ms. Chu Lan Phuong – Director of Tax, Finance, and Sustainable Development Advisory at RSM Vietnam, and Ms. Phi Mai Chi – Career Development Specialist for Sustainable Growth and Founder of “Trạm Học Xanh,” the session brought fresh, practical knowledge to our young learners.
Stay tuned for the upcoming sessions, where students will learn the art of negotiating with parents for financial independence! Parents, be sure to follow our fanpage for more exciting updates on what Genees will be learning in financial management!
