On Monday morning at Genesis Tây Hồ campus, the weekly flag ceremony was held with the theme “Gratitude to the Vietnam People’s Army” – honoring the silent heroes who sacrificed for the peace of our country.
During the ceremony, the young students had the chance to meet and listen to the heartfelt stories of Mr. Thung and Mr. Toàn – the familiar guards who welcome the Genees to school every day. In the past, they wore the soldier’s uniform, enduring days of rigorous training and facing dangers to protect the nation’s peace.
The sincere and emotional stories of Mr. Thung and Mr. Toàn planted seeds of patriotism and gratitude in the hearts of the children. This was not just a flag ceremony, but also a lesson on silent sacrifices and the responsibility to our homeland.
