Last week, the atmosphere at Genesis was filled with excitement as our candidates officially stepped into the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Mock Exam.

Before the exam, students warmed up with impressive student performances and an energizing, light-hearted activity led by Ms. Cindy Loren Lederle – Director of International Programmes & Green Project. Smiles, applause, and moments of connection helped ease any nerves and brought a sense of comfort before entering the exam room.

As the exam began, students quickly shifted into full concentration. Each candidate worked carefully, followed the regulations, and handled every question with calmness and confidence. The exam rooms were filled with a sense of discipline and seriousness – a true reflection of the Cambridge spirit.

Meanwhile, parents attending the session also had a meaningful and informative morning. Representatives from Genesis introduced the international pathway of the Cambridge programme and offered valuable guidance on how to support their children throughout their learning journey. A highlight of the session was the heartfelt story shared by the mother of Phương Nguyên – a Grade 9 Genesis student who recently achieved an IELTS 8.5 – providing practical insights and motivation for parents accompanying their children.

Beyond familiarizing students with the Cambridge test format, the mock exam was an important opportunity for Genee learners to strengthen their confidence, composure, and scientific thinking – essential qualities for their academic journey ahead.
