Learning at Genesis happens in the most dynamic ways, in any space across the school. It could be in fully equipped classrooms, inspiring art spaces, or even the familiar garden grounds.
In their recent class, the little ones of Wetty S1 transformed into “engineers” as they built a mud house using natural materials found in the school garden. Each student took on a different role: some gathered soil, others pulled out grass, while some were responsible for fetching water. Once they had all the materials, the children worked together—mixing, molding, and skillfully applying the mud to branches that had been carefully arranged to form the walls, all without hesitation of getting dirty!
Engaging with soil, grass, and water directly not only helps develop their sense of touch but also teaches them to experience the world through their hands. Little by little, each child realized that daring to try, even if it meant dirty hands, brought countless valuable lessons.
>> Moreover, building the house allowed them to unleash their imagination and creativity. Everyone eagerly envisioned what their house would look like and joyfully worked together to complete a truly impressive project. Parents and teachers, stay tuned to see the amazing results from the young Genee engineers of Wetty S1!
