Between the ages of 24-36 months, children experience a surge in language development and begin to form a deeper understanding of the world around them. The familiar kitchen space at home can become an ideal learning environment where little ones expand their vocabulary and develop essential life skills.
During a recent “My Little Kitchen” lesson at the Sunny S2 class, the Genees got to know everyday kitchen items like bowls, spoons, plates, refrigerators, and rice cookers. Through vivid images and hands-on activities, the children not only learned to name these objects but also discovered their functions.
The lesson also incorporated safety lesson, teaching the children to recognize and avoid dangerous objects like knives and fragile glassware. This not only helps protect the children but also fosters a sense of responsibility for taking care of the kitchen. The Genees were guided in age-appropriate tasks like putting back their dishes and spoons after meals, stacking chairs, and wiping tables – building habits of helping out at home.
>> The “My Little Kitchen” class not only brought joy to each Genee but also supported their holistic development. Parents, let’s take a look at the adorable moments of the little ones in action!
