Genesis’ ESL Curriculum is built to make optimal use of the thematic learning approach. Thematic learning method focuses on specific themes to help children fully recognize knowledge through theories related to the theme and practical experiences. Therefore, ESL lessons at Genesis are held daily, with the duration and content depending on the different streams.
During this time, students study with expat teachers with the support of local teachers. In each lesson, students are encouraged to be creative, to develop thinking skills, studying skills, and teamwork skills. Learning content is introduced through a variety of activities: listening to stories, organizing events, expressing opinions and feelings, speaking and repeating sentences, playing physical games, performing plays, creating arts, etc.

The curriculum at Genesis successfully combines the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Learning through projects associated with the (SDGs) in a green environment with many natural ingredients and materials raises children’s love and awareness of environmental protection from an early age.

Each month, the school chooses one of the 17 sustainable development goals as the theme for learning and experiential activities. These goals are selected based on the appropriate time of year and celebrations by month. From the main goal, the school continues to choose a suitable topic in the contents of that goal and builds the program for each week.
