As part of Project Week, Sports Day at Genesis Hanoi Primary School took place in a lively and energetic atmosphere, featuring exciting activities such as basketball, dodgeball, and jump rope. More than just a day of competition, Sports Day also marked the moment to celebrate the first “sweet results” of the 30-Day Jump Rope Challenge for Health, which had been launched earlier.
After weeks of consistent daily practice, students stepped into Sports Day with growing confidence. Some children may be small in size, but their jump counts were anything but small, leaving teachers and friends genuinely surprised and proud of their determination and progress.
The event also highlighted students’ initiative and responsibility, as several learners actively supported teachers in monitoring and recording competition results. Their involvement helped foster a sense of ownership, teamwork, and connection throughout the day.
As one of the key activities of Project Week, Sports Day plays an important role in promoting the spirit of SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being). Starting from the joy of physical activity, the event encourages students to build positive physical foundations and develop a lifelong appreciation for health and well-being at Genesis.
