“Don’t forget to come early, Mom and Dad!” – that sweet reminder had been repeated every day by our Genees since they invited their parents to join the Opening Ceremony. And just as expected, this morning the seats were already filled early with the warm smiles of parents – true companions from the very first steps of a new journey.
In the solemn atmosphere of this special day, Dr. Trần Đình Thuận – former Deputy Director of the Primary Education Department, Director of the School Education Quality Assurance Program (MOET), and also a proud grandparent of two Genees – had the honor of beating the ceremonial drum, officially opening the new school year. The resounding sound carried with it faith and aspirations for today’s young learners.
The Mashup “Together we shine” lit up the stage with a radiant blend of singing, dancing, violin, and drumming – an energetic and inspiring start to the school year.
Next came the debut of the Student Council, as bright yet slightly nervous faces voiced their promises with pride, leaving the audience moved and filled with trust.
And then, the most special moment arrived: the “Happy Home” Workshop. Parents and children worked side by side to build little birdhouses. Each nail hammered, each piece of wood joined, became more than just a craft – it was a symbol of warmth, love, and connection. At Genesis, more than anything, every family finds a “happy home” where dreams can grow and take flight.
Today’s Opening Ceremony not only marked the beginning of a new school year, but also left behind a deep resonance: the pride of being part of the Genesis family, where every member writes a story of confidence, breakthroughs, and love together.
