For our little Genees, every school day is a new adventure. And last week, that adventure stretched beyond the familiar gates of Genesis. They embarked on an experiential learning trip to Chimi Farm and Erahouse Rainbow Park, where lessons about nature, food, and the world around us came to life in the most vivid way.

Though already familiar with caring for plants in their school garden, this trip gave Genees the chance to explore nature on a much larger scale. As “little botanists,” they wandered through vegetable fields, gently pulled up radishes from the soil, and learned that behind every delicious meal lies the quiet teamwork between people and nature, day by day.

Outside the classroom, Genees stepped into a world of vibrant tradition through folk games and themed activities like bamboo dancing or dressing up as young soldiers in the spirit of April’s historical month. These moments not only brought joy but also helped build important life skills such as resilience, patience, and agility, nurtured not through lectures but through real experiences.

Though the trip has ended, the stories still echo in the school hallways. One Genee marveled at a horse “as big as the ones in fairy tales,” while another proudly announced they jumped through the bamboo dance without holding the teacher’s hand. For young children, every small adventure is a quiet milestone, but deeply meaningful.
