A Week of Confidence, Connection and Heartfelt English from Our Genees
This past week, Genesis Kindergarten embraced many beautiful moments during English Appreciation Week – a time when English became the language of affection, connection, and growing confidence.
What made the week truly special was watching our Genee learners use English naturally to express their thoughts and connect with friends and teachers. Moments of children proudly holding their creations, chatting with ease, or asking one another simple questions showed that their English reflexes are developing with steadiness and joy.
English Appreciation Week created countless opportunities for children to use English in their daily conversations – with teachers, with friends, and even across classes. In those moments, English became a small yet meaningful bridge that brought them closer, helped them understand one another, and express care and kindness.
Throughout the week, each classroom turned into a colorful creative space filled with drawings, cards, gifts, and charming handmade pieces. In every activity, children used English to describe, interact, and express affection – demonstrating confidence and initiative in communication.
The highlight of the week was the Mini Showcase, where Genee learners looked back on their project journey through a recap video, enjoyed poems and songs dedicated to teachers and friends, and explored the exhibition of class products. Many children confidently stood at their display corner to introduce their own creations – a truly beautiful moment of growth.
English Appreciation Week concluded with countless smiles and meaningful connections.
For Genesis, the greatest joy is seeing our young learners grow more confident in using English and express their emotions openly in the environment they love.
