The Opening Ceremony always carries a very special emotion. This morning, at Genesis Campus 2, the joy and excitement of teachers, students, and parents came together as the new school year officially began.
The hall came alive from the very first notes of “A Million Dreams”, where Primary, Secondary, and new Genees expressed their hopes and aspirations through music and dance. Then came the solemn moment of the flag procession: the Theme Flag “Rise with Confidence” was carried with honor, and the resounding school drum became a call to action – reminding every Genee that this school year is a journey to affirm themselves, to step beyond limits, and to reach further.
The stage lit up with the welcoming performance of the violin duet “Hello Vietnam” by Nha Uyen and Minh Chau – pure melodies evoking love for the homeland. The highlight followed with “Continuing the Story of Peace”: the vibrant drumbeats of Viet Tu and Minh Ngoc, combined with the powerful dance of Secondary students, brightened the entire hall. In these historic September days, the performance became a bridge between past and present, carrying the message that today’s generation continues the aspiration for peace, pride, and responsibility – rising with confidence into the future.
The ceremony was also an occasion to honor outstanding Genees awarded scholarships. The faces called on stage brought pride to their families and teachers, while inspiring their peers to keep striving.
In his speech, Principal Phan Anh of Genesis Secondary School reminded students that breakthroughs do not always have to be something grand. For Primary Genees, it may simply be the eagerness to discover something new each day. For Secondary Genees, it is the courage to take on challenges and the persistence to nurture dreams. And for all, sometimes just studying a little harder, listening a little more, or daring to speak up can already be a meaningful breakthrough.
The school year 2025–2026, under the theme “Rise with Confidence,” also emphasizes students’ initiative and confidence in expressing themselves. Representing that spirit, Nguyen Khang was invited to strike the ceremonial drum, officially opening the new journey.
The ceremony concluded with the mass performance “Genesis Dance Together” – where music, dance, and smiles blended into one, leaving behind a beautiful message: at Genesis, we learn together, grow together, find happiness together, and rise together with confidence.
The school year 2025-2026 has officially begun. Wishing all Genees a brilliant year ahead – to rise with confidence, break through, reach higher, and shine brighter!
