As part of Book Week 2026, Genees across both campuses had the opportunity to join special sharing sessions with Pranati Bagchi – educator, children’s book author, and founder of The Lavender Spaceship Project in Singapore.
During the sessions, students listened to Pranati share the story behind “A Perfect Wagon for Sunny” and the inspiration that led her to write the book. The creative journey, the way she developed the characters Remy and Sunny, and many interesting details behind the story kept the Genees fully engaged and excited throughout the program.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter, adorable questions from the Genees, and many warm, meaningful conversations with Pranati during the two sessions at Genesis. Students also had the chance to receive signed books and capture memorable moments with the author.
Perhaps for many Genees, the most special part was not only listening to a wonderful story, but also meeting the person behind it, hearing the author share her creative journey in such a warm, inspiring, and personal way.
