A journey beyond the comfort zone
At the school year orientation, Mr. Phan Anh – General Director of Genesis Education – shared: “There is no fixed model for what it means to break through. Everyone has their own definition, their own limits to overcome. Sometimes, simply doing well in what we’re used to can already mean we are standing still.”
From that spirit, Genesis has chosen “Rise with Confidence” as the theme for the 2025-2026 academic year – a powerful call to action for every student and teacher: to move forward with courage, to rise above limitations, and to expand thinking and actions toward holistic and sustainable growth.

“Rise with Confidence” is not merely about doing well in what is familiar. It’s about daring to step out of one’s comfort zone and trying something new. Confidence is not just about personal resilience, but also about trust – trust in colleagues, in the collective journey of education, and in the shared commitment of the Genesis community to create meaningful change for students. It is the belief that each person, in their own unique way, contributes to shaping a better learning experience.
This spirit is nurtured through every learning experience – where students are heard, encouraged to try, to make mistakes, and to grow. Confidence takes root in the smallest moments, built through the trust between teachers and students, and strengthened by the partnership between school and family – where everyone plays an essential role in each child’s journey of growth.

Breaking through does not always require giant leaps. It may begin with a student speaking up for the first time, a teacher exploring a new approach to inspire learning, or a parent choosing to listen to their child with a fresh perspective. Every change – no matter how small – can lead to meaningful transformation when encouraged at the right moment.
This school year, Genesis chooses Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3): Good Health and Wellbeing, emphasizing that mental and physical health must go hand in hand with academic learning. Every teacher is not only a transmitter of knowledge, but also a “rhythm keeper” – helping students maintain a healthy balance between learning, play, and rest.
The curriculum is designed with an integrated and balanced approach to academics, emotional wellbeing, and physical activity – providing a foundation for students to achieve academic excellence in happiness. Without pressure or rigidity, the focus is on nurturing the full development of body, mind, and spirit.

“Rise with Confidence” is more than a slogan. It is a guiding direction that comes to life in every lesson, every activity, and every relationship within the Genesis community. When students feel genuine support and develop belief in themselves, they will have the strength to break through – in their own way, at their own pace, always grounded and full of inner strength.
