The Project Week of Genesis Secondary students concluded with a deeply moving closing programme, unfolding like a “journey of radiance” across five meaningful stages. In this journey, students stood at the centre, taking ownership, leading with confidence, and spreading their own positive energy.
The journey began with the strong, energetic strides of Genesis Jump for Health, where Genee learned to embrace challenges through a spirit of sportsmanship and sustained vitality. This momentum flowed naturally into a series of science and critical-thinking exploration stations, sparking curiosity and intellectual engagement. From there, the journey expanded outward to the wider world through integration-focused activities, where foreign languages became powerful tools of connection, enabling students to confidently express their perspectives, courage, and global outlook.
Amid this dynamic atmosphere of global engagement, the Genee paused to reflect through the art programme “The Nation Seen from Its Seas and Islands.” With the presence of two special guests who have devoted themselves to the protection of the country, the programme evoked deep emotions and nurtured a profound sense of love for homeland and heritage. The journey then came to a close with the students’ most honest reflections, expressed through the play “Standing at the Threshold of Adulthood,” where Genee learned to listen inwardly, understand themselves, and name their own emotions.
The five stages of this “journey of radiance” did more than conclude Project Week. They vividly embodied the values Genesis consistently upholds: nurturing Genee who are physically healthy, intellectually resilient, confident in using foreign languages to engage with the global community, deeply respectful of their roots, and truly self-aware on their journey of growth at Genesis and beyond.
