On the morning of May 31st, 2025, student and teacher representatives from Genesis School Hanoi were honored to attend the launch ceremony of the “Living Book Library” model and the “Teen Lens Club” – two special initiatives celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Hanoi Children’s Palace, a beloved cultural space of childhood for generations of students in the capital city.

The Living Book Library is an open, creative library model – where books are not only read with the eyes but also experienced through all five senses, sparking curiosity, critical thinking, and action-oriented spirit. This multi-sensory reading space is connected to diverse experiential activities: from creative workshops at libraries, schools, and the Children’s Palace, to heritage discovery tours at museums, craft villages, and eco-cultural-historical spaces. Each book becomes a gateway to a journey of self-directed reading, learning, autonomy, and sustainable development, empowering students to explore themselves, connect with the community, and shape the future. This is a library of action, of creativity, and of life.

The Teen Lens Club is an inspiring space for youth aged 12–18. Here, young people are encouraged to share their own real stories, learn to listen, empathize, and appreciate diversity. The club supports students in developing storytelling skills, critical thinking, and digital communication through modern technology. With 24 learning-to-action themes, the club paves the way for building 21st-century digital citizenship skills in a generation of confident, creative, and responsible Gen Z learners.

By joining hands with innovative educational models like the “Living Book Library” and the “Teen Lens Club,” Genesis School Hanoi brings to life its mission: Fostering independent thinking – Nurturing personal identity – Building community connections – Shaping a sustainable future.

On this International Children’s Day, we wish all Genee students continued curiosity, courage, and creativity as you explore the world – and yourselves!
