The Future Designer experience program offers a creative opportunity for the Thinkers—campers aged 11 to 13—participating in 3D’s Summer Camp. Over the course of three weeks, these young minds get to experience the work of real designers!
Through a creative approach, knowledge is integrated from various subjects, including Mathematics, Information Technology, and Art. The young designers learn how to create models using Corel and LaserCAD software, and they use laser cutting machines to craft their products. These skills not only expand their understanding of design and manufacturing but also foster their creative thinking and practical application abilities.
This week, the Thinkers will move beyond simple laser-cut cards and cute wooden keychains to complete their very own self-designed nightlights. There’s truly nothing more exciting than creating a highly functional product from what they’ve learned.
Let’s take a look at some adorable moments as our future engineers diligently work on completing their creative projects!
