The experiential learning journey for Genees has come to a close, yet the warm memories linger in each family’s heart. The journey through five stations served as “touchpoints of love,” helping parents and children deepen their understanding of one another and cherish the “essence of family bonds”.
At the station “Crafting station” simple tasks like sewing and tightening screws revealed to Genees the patience and finesse behind every action of their parents. Many were pleasantly surprised to see fathers meticulously stitching each seam like skilled artisans.
The “Pine hill adventure” station challenged families with tricky clues and steep climbs. Each puzzle and step up the hill was an encouragement not only for the students but also a memorable bonding experience for the entire family, culminating in the joy of triumph as they reached the hilltop.
The “Recycled afts” station offered a fresh perspective on environmental responsibility. Each raft built from recycled materials reminded both children and families of the importance of a green lifestyle and the practice of reusing to protect our planet.
The “Love is in the air” station was the most emotional, as families journeyed through nine stages of heartfelt experiences. Each member shared sweet memories and expressed genuine affection, collectively creating a large heart symbolizing love and connection.
At the “Gourmet corner” station, children teamed up with their parents to showcase their cooking skills while listening to a nutrition expert discuss the value of family meals. Each dish told a simple, cherished story, helping participants understand the love that goes into every meal their parents prepare.
Amid these bonding activities, a cozy discussion took place among parents, the Genesis school board, and guests such as architect Lê Lương Ngọc, who shared his philosophy of green architecture harmonizing with nature at Ban Tiện lake, and Ms. Phí Mai Chi, a sustainable career development expert and founder of the Green Learning Station, discussing the sustainable educational values that Genesis promotes. The journey culminated in a lively raft race, with cheers and laughter filling the air. Emotions erupted from the spectators and teams as the “Raft team” 8A1 crossed the finish line first.
